Prior to his appointment as Vice Chancellor, he served as <strong>Dean, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering<\/strong> and <strong>Dean, Faculty of Earth Sciences and Engineering<\/strong> at the University of Engineering &amp; Technology (UET), Lahore, where he also held several key academic and administrative leadership positions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>An alumnus of the <strong>Tokyo Institute of Technology, Japan<\/strong>, Dr. Aizad completed his PhD in Mechanical Engineering under the prestigious <strong>Japanese Government (MEXT) Scholarship<\/strong>, placing him among the eminent members of the MAAP community. His academic journey also includes Bachelor\u2019s and Master\u2019s degrees in Mechanical Engineering from UET Lahore, both earned with first division.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dr. Aizad\u2019s international academic exposure includes <strong>Commonwealth Academic Fellowships<\/strong> at the University of Cambridge (UK) and University College London, an <strong>Endeavour Research Fellowship<\/strong> in Australia, and a <strong>T\u00dcB\u0130TAK Visiting Scientist Fellowship<\/strong> in T\u00fcrkiye. He has published over <strong>105 research papers<\/strong>, authored <strong>six books<\/strong>, and secured multiple national and international research grants, making significant contributions to engineering research and innovation in Pakistan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Beyond academia, Dr. Aizad has played an instrumental role in university governance through his membership in the UET Senate, Syndicate, Advanced Studies and Research Board, and various strategic committees. He is also actively associated with several national and international professional bodies, including MAAP, reflecting his continued engagement with the global academic and alumni community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>MAAP takes great pride in Dr. Tauseef Aizad\u2019s achievements and is confident that under his visionary leadership, <strong>MNS UET Multan<\/strong> will continue to grow as a center of excellence in engineering education, research, and innovation.
