Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JPLT)

The Japanese-Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) is held worldwide annually to evaluate the level proficiency of non-native speakers in Japanese language. The Japan Foundation works with local host institutions to administer the test outside Japan. In Pakistan, National University of Modern Languages (NUML) in collaboration with MEXT Alumni Association of Pakistan (MAAP), and the Embassy of Japan, Islamabad arranges the JLPT in Islamabad to facilitate the Japanese Language speakers living in and around the capital. The test is simultaneously held at Japan Information & Cultural Centre, Consulate General of Japan in Karachi as well.
