Past, Present and Future of MAAP – A Galaxy of Shining Stars
The Monbukagakusho Alumni Association of Pakistan (MAAP) is pleased to announce the launch of a landmark collective initiative — a joint book to be authored by members of the MAAP family.
The proposed publication will serve as a living “Who’s Who of MAAP,” documenting the academic journeys, professional achievements, and lasting contributions of MAAP members across Pakistan and beyond.
About the Book
All MAAP members are invited to contribute:
- A standardized one-page professional profile
- Photographs (during study in Japan and recent)
- A personal memoir or chapter reflecting on academic and cultural experiences in Japan
- A note of gratitude to Japan, universities, mentors, and friends
- Areas of professional expertise for indexing and reference
Contributions may be written in English (preferred), Urdu, or include Japanese expressions, and the length of the personal chapter is flexible.
Purpose of the Project
The initiative aims to:
- Preserve MAAP’s institutional history
- Inspire future generations aspiring to study in Japan
- Highlight the intellectual and professional strength of MAAP members
- Provide a valuable reference for academic and institutional collaboration
