Prof Dr Yasar Ayaz of MAAP conferred Pride of Perfomance by the President Islamic Republic of Pakistan in a prestigious ceremony held in Aiwan-e-Saddar, Islamabad on March 23, 2022 for his countless services to the nation in the field of AI and Robotics. Prof Dr Yasar Ayaz, Central Project Director/Chairman National Centre of Artificial Intelligence (NCAI), Founder of Department of Robotics at NUST School of Mechanical & Manufacturing Engineering (SMME). He did his Ph.D. from Tohoku University, Japan.
