MAAP assumed the Presidency of SAFJUAA

MAAP (MEXT Alumni Association of Pakistan) is honored to assume the Presidency of SAFJUAA (South Asian Federation of Japanese Universities Alumni Associations) for the period 2024-2026 at its 12th meeting held virtually on August 24, 2024. The meeting was hosted by JUAAN (Japanese Universities Alumni Association of Nepal) that held the presidency till now, and was also attended by Presidents and other office bearers of JUAAB (Japanese Universities Alumni Association of Bangladesh), JAAB (Japanese Alumni Association of Bhutan), MOSAI (Mombusho Scholars Association of India), JAGAAS (Japanese Graduates Alumni Association of Sri Lanka). President JUAAN – Dr. Sunil Babu Shrestha – proposed the handing over of SAFJUAA presidency to MAAP and all member organizations endorsed the proposal, after which Dr. Nasir M. Khan, President MAAP took over the chair of the meeting and expressed the gratitude of MAAP and its members on being bestowed this honor for the period 2024-2026. This was followed by a lively discussion on activities to be undertaken over the next two years. MAAP members shall be kept informed of these activities and other relevant updates through the MAAP website and WhatsApp group.
